TCE GIVEWAY – WINNER
Wow, I’m so thankful to all of you who took the time to write in, for the emails and the comments. All of the rituals and experiences you spoke of are a wonderful reminder as to why I do what I do — coffee is such a powerful social ritual!
I decided to put you all in my fedora, since they were all amazing, and the randomly selected winner is…
Katie S.
Coffee shared with friends is truly one of my most cherished pastimes. Whether it be coffee from the local coffee house or coffee shared at home, the moment the warm cup hits my hand and the rich aroma wafts up to my nose my whole being starts to feel more at peace. I absolutely love having coffee with my husband and another couple on the weekends because I leave feeling so renewed and full of creative ideas. We always meet for dinner first then pick a coffee house to go to after, but we always joke that we should skip dinner because we enjoy our time spent over coffee the most. Coffee just makes you want to linger and keep talking and laughing and loving the moment you are in.
Another special moment shared over coffee that I will never forget was at a Brazilian restaurant in Florida with my husband while on our honeymoon. We went early to watch the flamenco dancers and stayed late drinking the most amazing coffee either one of us had ever had. I would guess that we drank six cups each of this strong brew. Well, once we made it back to the hotel we rushed to get in bed to make sure we were rested for our early flight, but neither one of us was able to fall asleep until close to 4 am!! So, we stayed awake talking and laughing with each other. We were tired in the morning, but both agreed that delicious coffee and wonderful night of laughter was totally worth it.
Congrats Katie! Please email me at elizabeth@thecoffeeexperiment.com with your address and I’ll send your grumpy goodies as soon as possible.
